We are Bob and Linda Bates, professors at Alaska Bible College since June 2009. We enjoy our role teaching bible, theology, topics in Christian life, and serving as mentors to our students.
As our newest endeaver, both of us are working on books related to our teaching subjects. See below for more information!

About Bob
Bob is a research professor at Alaska Bible College in Palmer, Alaska, where he has taught for 15 years with Linda. He has
a B.Sc.(Ed) in Science and Education from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He also has a Th.M in Bible Exposition
and a Ph.D. (all but Dissertation) in Bible from Dallas Theological Seminary.
About Linda
Linda is a research professor at Alaska Bible College, where she has taught for more than a decade with her husband, Bob.
She holds a B.Sc. in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from
the University of Houston, and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies with honors from Dallas Theological Seminary.
She enjoys teaching God's Word to all ages.

Every child of God's journey to Christlikeness
is orchestrated by God our Father's loving heart.
With infinite wisdom, through His word and Spirit,
He gently conforms His children's character to be
more like our Lord Jesus Christ's. As we present

making, those He has specifically designed for us,
and those He permits because they will fulfill His
purposes. He reveals the depths of His love and
mercy to us and to a dying world.

at the right hand of God the Father? What gracious resources and distinctive
requirements has our Lord given us to obey His commands? Our Savior's
powerful, nail-scarred hands gently and securely hold us as we entrust
ourselves to Him daily, learning to walk in the light of His Word and the
power of His Spirit within. Come and explore the inner process of
transformation our Heavenly Father uses as we follow Jesus Christ daily.
